Greater Love Hath No Man...

I don't think that we give enough praise to our military heroes. Just as an example, this story wasn't first on several news sites, the story about the beheaded bodies that were discovered was ahead of it. The media doesn't seem interested in telling the incredible stories of valor and courage of our soldiers.

With that in mind, I think we need to make a push in the blog community to tell the story ourselves and push the drive by media to tell the stories of courage. Imagine if one of the night time broadcasts were to show a series of 10-20 stories about acts of valor. Give them 5 minutes each night and tell about the exemplary conduct of our fine soldiers. It would swell our hearts with pride and definitely get great ratings. But, they have no interest in doing that because it would make our military look good and interrupt the drumbeat of negativism. Who cares about a great story if it doesn't fit the agenda.
