I note with some interest that in his book Letter to a Christian Nation Sam Harris refused to conceed that any of the dictators mentioned were atheists. Odd a person who professes to be a Christian is assumed to be a Christian, but a person who professes to be an atheist is not.

Remember the old adage...'tell a tree by the fruit that it bears?' There is a new category of 'practical atheists' that I hear people talk about.I think its possible to conclude that atheism can produce behavior without limits and rhetoric that exalts man. A great book I have been reading is The Devil's Delusion by David Berlinski. He deals with some of these philosophical 'delusions' and denials.
