Soon after the November elections, Bill cautioned the Dems against reading their victory as a mandate. "The voters gave us a chance, not a mandate." That chance is represented by the 41 new dems who won by running conservatives campaigns, the same upstarts that seem to introduce reality back onto the floor proceedings are seemingly to cajoling and threats from the party leadership. Conservatives are winning. You just can't tell because the GOP leadership is just as stupid as the Dem leadership.

Congress

It seems no one in Congress is listening to what the voters want. Change doesn't mean wholesale change, just do some things differently. Many Dem leaders don't understand that. And it's obvious Lott and Graham do not. Bi-partisan hatred of the immigration fiasco shows that neither side wants what is being served up to them.
