Do we have the persistence to make real change?

Liberals are more likely to work for a group whose only purpose is to agitate for a specific agenda. Or they have a job which allows them the time and access to do so anytime they want (like college professor). Conservatives more often work producing actual goods and services, and have real work and family concerns that may detract from their ability to focus on the issue they'd like to fix.
