Mr Franken is well ahead in what is apparently the largest voting bloc in Minnesota-- Mental Defectives. Surely a candidate for the Senate should not have 'failed comedian' as the central fixture of his resume but the good voters of our northern province dont seem to be very discerning, having in the past elected a feeble-minded coward (his name escapes me) who was so traumatized by the unfortunate miss of the Capitol building on 9/11 by the terrorists that he refused to return to Washington DC for the rest of his term in office.
