Obama: an aneurysm away from VP.

Like millions, I am enthralled with Sarah Palin as she is an extremely impressive individual and seems like an excellent American. My issue is with the judgement shown by McCain with this choice.

Here is a man who has spent years and years in public life and at the most critical juncture of his political life chooses as his VP cantidate a person he had previoulsy spoken with once for about 15 minutes. People, really, truly can Sarah Palin be the best choice out of all the people John McCain as met in his long life? Again, try to separate the question from the knee-jerk reaction to defending Palin the person, as I have already said she is excellent.

The choice as all the qualities of a clumsy publicity stunt, rather than a carefully considered decision based upon the requirements of the actual job, namely stepping in to the Presidency should the President become incapacitatd or die.
