More Liberal Nonsense

I think it is completely inappropriate to play politics with this issue. This is not about Red and Blue. I don't care if he has a drinking problem. I don't care if he was molested as a teen. He is a person in authority, a position of trust, and he stepped way over the line. He knows very well that what he was doing was wrong and sick. Making excuses is not going to help the situation. I am a conservative and I am watching how the GOP handles this. As God is my witness, if this guy does not take complete responsibility for his actions I will not be a Republican in November. I will jump ship and take as many people with me as I can. He needs to be treated like the criminal he is. Anyone who takes his side in any way, shape, or form is an idiot and should be considered suspect.

It's because liberal's are so lenient with child predators that Republicans like Hastert should do the honorable thing and resign. What if it had been his child who received e-mails from a 52 year-old man?

It makes Republicans look like jackasses when they point fingers at Democratic culprits from over 20 years ago. Live in the present and do the right thing. I'm only dreaming though if I think any issue is impervious to politics.
