The Cure For America's Woes

Thanks, that needed to be said. Americans and American Christians overlook the fact that sin is rampant. It is the cause of our many woes. How far we have strayed from God and the principles of our founding fathers. I pray for another revival. The cleansing however, must first start with the children of God.

You are right that revival starts in the church and the feel good sermons have to cross over to the rest of the Bible message. Hell is rarely if ever heard from pulpits today and judgment for sin, very rare!
Far too many believers are pre-occupied with materialism and few with evangelism. The revival is always for the church and then comes the awakening. May God have mercy on us and revive us again.

...that the Christian Church in America has been subnormal for so long that if we ever get back to normal, people will think we are abnormal! We do, indeed, need both Reformation and Revival (not sure of the order...maybe there's a post there?). And we need the attitude, Let it begin with me. May God truly have mercy on us and revive us again. Amen and Amen.
