Comment on: How the media LIES!

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., what's he ever done?

Radlad, your RadRIGHT!

My point exactly. Who made the Kennedy's Kings of this country? I didn't vote for them! (To quote Monty Python, "You don't vote for kings!")

Or Rodney Dangerfield said in Caddyshack, "Who made you pope of this dump?"

And in my opinion, just making speeches and getting paid for it, does not make you an expert on anything! It's been said, "Will go miles to speak, but won't go across the street to listen!"

Thanks for your comments!

Mick O.

Sorry, I meant -Radlad, you're RadRIGHT!

I inadvertantly put your instead of the correct you're. Sorry!

Wrong, again....

RFK, Jr. has a resume a mile long of extraordinary achievements, most of which include exposing you right-wing freaks for what you are: ultimately anti-American and without a shred of conscience, humanity, humor or self discipline.

I thank God every day for people like him, and for web sites like andrewsulliven.com, thehuffingtonpost.com and mediamatters.com that monitor the right-wing spin machine.

Enjoy your party's last few gasps of breath and start now to practice saying "Madame President."

Ellen is WRONG!

Please take a look at the book "Do As I Say" by Peter Schweizer and see what your precious Bobby Kennedy Jr. has been up to.

While espousing his man-made global warming theories and preaching alternative energy, on page 87 it shows the Kennedy's hypocrisy. The family is not allowing wind turbines (alternative energy they propose for the rest of us) to be built far off their coast line. Although this is one of the best places for a wind turbine setup and can not be seen from shore, they still won't let them be constructed there. Pages 90 and 91 also point out more of the family's hypocrisy.

As for you, spewing hate filled rhetoric because you have no facts at your disposal, proves it is YOU who have no conscience. You are hung up on big government control in order to make people do what you want them to do through laws passed by your bureaucratic pals in Washington.

As for "Madame President", we'll see about that. Just like Al Gore and John Kerry before her, she will go down to defeat to someone who has principles just because the rabid anti-war left is running the party of hatred and defeat.

Whew!

I've become fascinated over the last couple of weeks and months by the blindness of people with regard to RFK Jr.

I truly think that well-intentioned but misguided folks are projecting onto him what they saw in his father, who had more charisma and connected with people in ways Jr can only dream of.

Starting with his position on Vaccination/Autism, his allegations are based not on scientific evidence, rather an attempt to vilify the pharmaceutical industry (which is no halo-bearing entity mind you) and in the process has frightened may parents into not vaccinating their children. His position and written articles and speeches have threatened the most successful public (health) program in world history!

And now this.Again, refusing to acknowledge the credibility of peer-reviewed scientists who disagree with him, he vilifies, name calls and cajoles anyone who dares to differ.

This comes from someone whose income is from trust funds and and investments from the same "toadies" he wants you to rise up against. All the while taking private planes, living in spacious homes,globe-trotting, jet-setting while telling the rest of us how to live more "responsibly". This just doesn't wash coming from someone who has been busted a couple of times for illegal drugs, dodging any jail time, instead serving his time through community service for an organization he eventually hijacked for his own gain.

15 years ago I thought this guy had a prayer. Maybe through his shortcomings and lessons learned in life he could have served us well in public office. I've done a complete 360 over the last couple of years and I doubt he'd get elected to dog-catcher now.

Not to mention his staunch defense of a cousin who was convicted by a jury of peers of murder. That's all a big conspiracy too.

Makes you wonder if all this bizarre grandstanding isn't some kind of transferential phenom regarding the murder of his father.

Thank you for your comments and insight. I am surprised by the number of responses that this editorial has evoked.

I was too young to vote for either John or Bobby but grew up with the idea that the name Kennedy was gold. That was until Ted came along. Since then the halo has been tarnished as I found that they are just big government types who want to make laws for the rest of us.

Open letter Ellen Waldstein

A little premature, don't you think? Hillary as "Madame President"? I hardly think so! HA!
