I wonder if Congressman Frank would be this caous throwing the name of his houseboys?Did he ever pay the taxes on the money taken in from the prostitutes running out of his basement.He says he didn't know! This major debacle would have had a republican's head on a platter in 24 hours. In about that same time frame the entire story was brushed under the rug by his pals in medialand.He gives a speach extolling the virtues and solvency of Fannie and Freddie five months before they caved in the entire economy,and he has the audacity to sit in on congressional hearings and grill those evil CEOs and corporate robber barons when it was Dodd and him and the SEC that were thr watchmen asleep at the wheel.This eye opening exercise the American people have had with Geithner and Dodd and the White House in the last 24 hours I hope will keep them open long enough to finally put the blame on the real perpetrators instead of any President in office at the time or any private sector person guilty of the seven deadly sins that grow exponentially with wealth and/or power. Punish the private sector for their crimes,but remember,they did not put their hand on a Bible and swear to uphold the laws of the land.The politicians have to be punished harsher than any private sector criminal for that reason alone.
