Well said. But what are the hard and often times brutal facts of reality and war compared to the bliss of ideology and fantasy. What Obama called a "war of necessity" is now Bush's war of stupidity because Obama can't apologize and appease the war away; he can't negotiate it out of existence unless he's willing to surrender or give the Taliban and Al Qaida half of Afghanistan-like Chamberlian giving the Sudetenland to Hitler. Then war will come back another day for another administration costing far more in treasure and blood.

You're right of course. What I meant to say is that Obama and Nixon have the distinction of inheirting wars from presidents of the opposite party.

The double printed overlines are a distortion made by your computer. Copying the text without the picture should solve the problem.

What a pain to have to copy and paste everything.
