Well, what can I say, but that
you are obviously brilliant and insightful because we are in agreement. Obama's a bitter pill indeed, but sometimes the worst-tasting medicine is the most effective.

Yeah, baby!
Ain't it great?
This is working out just as we predicted last year when the noseholders were giving us so much flak.
It's great to be us!

God, I hate being right. HaHaHa!
With few exceptions, ever single bad policy that has passed, or is pending, was a McCain campaign promise also. Healthcare, Climate Change.....you know the list.

How is your studing going for your professional engineering license?
And I believe that you, and BrianR, and Sgt Relic were correct on your non-vote for McShame.
But also remember, I didn't give yall any "flak" for not voting for him. (What a person's conscience dictates, I will never argue against.)
I do hope that you are correct. O'Vomit could be "Jimmy Carter" on steriods. If so, the end of my "engineering career" and my fading years will be spent in an America returning to its Conservative roots.
You have my email address. Write if you get a chance and tell me how your PE is getting along. BTW, I have been so busy I have not been able to correspond to Jim Burke. I hope to do so in the near future.

What can I say, but that I agree with your comment.
It's a bitter pill, and I could still use a spoonful of sugar to help it go down, but I believe that in the end we will be much better off.

You'll get used to it after a while!
This way, the Dems get full credit, even though they still try the "we inherited these problems" line. It's getting harder and harder for anyone to buy that when at the same time they are taking credit for "jobs saved or created."

Studying is ongoing, and it will curtail my activities here. I may try to "bind" the Jim Burke notes to take in to the exam.
What The Big BO has passed so far is reversible. We still have to stop BO care next month, and it CAN be done. People are waking up, even though they tried to sneak it by in the middle of the night. You'll be able to enjoy your retirement.

Thanks for your comments at my place. Nice job documenting the apparent fall from grace...;)
It sure "looks" like the admin is faltering... the prob is they have a super majority and our hands are tied, and the dems don't care what the public thinks...they want to ram through their marxist agenda, and it is quite likely they will do it without public support.
Mac/Palin would be reforming DC with a majority...oh well, guess we will find out soon enough if the gamble worked.
Hope you and the gang here are right, because if you're wrong the country loses...;) Btw, if anyone thinks we will have 100% conservatives as candidates in all states and for the WH, I have a bridge to sell them.
The fact is we always do better getting most of our agenda passed if we have a majority (even if imperfect). As far as I have seen the minority hasn't stopped a thing yet, and we're trillions in debt and headed down the European Socialist path. Nice huh?

Excellent Summation!
I want desperately to believe that most of those things play out, but I am so conditioned to expect stupidity/apathy on the part of a huge number of our fellow citizens that I am more than a little skeptical of our chances.
I think our best hope is that the reports of potential shifts away from Dems in the 2010 elections are true and will hold up through all the BS that will be coming at us.
Keep up the good work!

Bush/Cheney had a majority but due to the RINO factor in the Senate were not able to get done what had to be done.
I'm saying we need more conservatives as candidates.
If the GOP had the majority the Democrats had it would still not be enough. With the RINOs like the Senators from Maine, and Specter [before he left]. Lindsey Grahm, and more and more. Do you see any Democrat Senators stabbing their party leader in the back with a gang of 14 on judge nominations? It goes on and on with the 2008 presidential candidate. As it is now let the Democrats hold the bag for the mess they are making.
