Sorry, but the jury is not still out. If you go back to the RNC convention footage and find G Ifill making faces and looks when Pov Pailin was speaking, the truth is already out.

ifell should ...

prop up her obama book next to her on the table while moderating - for full disclosure ... and wear an obama pin on her lapel ... and also put an obama-biden sign in front of her as well. actually, why not put obama-biden signs in front of both biden and palin, and stretch a big banner in the background? hmm, anything else i missed? ;)

Hi, boaz!

Hey, thanks for that editorial criticism! Went back in and did a "fix". Hope it reads a little better now, kinda went for a fair and balanced hit piece! haha! Thanks for dropping by! dd

Hi, mOto!

Haha! Well, she could also display O`s presidential seal and then deliver a sales pitch for his commemorative coins. Oh! O! How could we forget the new Obama cell phone with the children`s celestial choir ring tones! dd

Palin

as someone else suggested, Palin should open the debate by congratulating Gwen on her new book, and asking her to tell everyone watching what the title is......

Possible advantage?

This is a good read from Fox on the subject http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/10/02/lemonade-lemons-pa lin-turn-moderator-bias-advantage/

Makes decent case for this being a win for Palin. I think it is possible she will suprise us.

truth there boaz!

Yeah...this is ridiculous. People want to say nothing about Obama has been injected into her book yet because he hasn't won yet. The point here is that she WANTS him to win and has the book ready to go and release on inaguration day!

and dawn you are doing well at being fair and balanced. This is unfortunately the most fair and balanced we can get anymore!!! MSM can take a line from Pamela Anderson and S*ck it!

But...

Jim Lehrer is just as bad. Ifill is awful but she's got a better TV persona than Lehrer. The more they gang up on her the better shot Palin has to hit a homer.

dawndawn

You know, I think they may be feeling some heat on this. After all, Ms. Ifill violated her journalistic ethics by not disclosing this book to the debate committee.

Hi,davecat!

Ms. Ifell should clear the air in the opening moments of the debate by announcing her literary achievement. But, it would be rich hearing Sarah congratulate her in that sweet, lilting voice! Priceless!

Hi, Chuck!

Will check the link out. She hasn`t been able cut a break, that`s for sure! Sarah is such a natural and so authentic, with incredible warmth, she will win hearts and minds, for sure!

Hi, American Sweetheart!

The double standard will definitely be on display tonight for all to see. Obama has never been asked the tough questions or subjected to a hostile media as Gov. Palin has in such a short time. Gwen Ifell is a joke and should be replaced as moderator. She wants it her way.

Hi, Skep!

I do think Jim Lehrer did a credible job with JMac and O last week. We`ll see with Ms. Ifell but my thoughts and prayers are with Sarah to knock their socks off! The MSM and intelligensia have pounded Gov. Palin about her interview with the Katie Monster! I didn`t even know people still watch Katie! Will wonders never cease?

Hi, Bob`s Nephew!

I agree with you that Ms Ifell violated journalistic ethics but, of course, the rules don`t apply to her! The left/progressives are with her all the way and will not hold her accountable for any obvious bias against Gov. Palin. My prayers are with Sarah who must be feeling tremendous pressure, the likes of which would destroy me! It will be an interesting night! dd

Gwen was a surprise...

Not what I expected...she did a pretty good job. Palin nocked it out of the park!

Things are looking up, but of course the propaganda media will continue to be a 24 hour a day campaign add for Obama...

Hi, Sheila!

My attitude is way better today! Gwen was surprisingly professional! And Sarah! She is so open and honest! Joe told a few whoppers or forgot the facts. A good debate! I was like a stage mom, couldn`t stay seated! Will be very interesting (maddening!) to see how they come at her next!

Gwen

I have to say I was surprised with Gwen. I thought that she was very professional.

Now of course if this was flipped and she was writing a book that highlighted McCain, she would have been booted in the blink of an eye.

Hi, Sue!

Yes, definitely, there is a double standard for those on the left. Gwen did surprise me, also. Sarah was herself!! Cannot understand why the media awarded the debate to Joe when he was caught in over 14 lies/exaggerations!!! I would really like someone to explain to me how we have come to this!

dawndawn

Gwen would have been kicked to the curb if she had been writing a book about McCain or even run out of town.

This double standard is getting so old. And Joe, well, he was just being Joe. I am getting a little tired of that one too. If Palin had said some of things he had said, his non-truth statements, the media would be blasting her for months.

This is going to going to be an interesting next few weeks. By the way, who is the moderator for the next Presidential one? Is it Brokaw?

Hi, Sue!

The GOP/Repubs and JMac need to get serious! So sick of this playing nice! This fraud, phony, do nothing but skate his entire life Obama can`t have it this easy! Sarah is out there now and there is little time to light the fires but you betcha, she`s doing her darndest! Cannot believe the American people would give Obama the presidency. Dunno who the moderator is on Tuesday but it could be Tommy. I think it`s a Town Hall! Thanks for your visit!

dawndawn

I see McCain has woken up a little. It is time to start fighting back here and not rollover.
I am getting sick and tired of the Obama is the one every two seconds in the news. Amazing how these news people are still falling all over him. Ugh!
Lets up they pick it up and get the spark ignited!

Hi, Sue!

You`re too funny! McCain has woken up a little! hahaha! It is about time! I heard a clip from Sarah that she`s got her pumps on and the gloves are off! "They" are already calling her racist for daring to utter Ayers and Obama in the same sentence!!!!! By the way, I am so happy I didn`t roll over for Gwen Iamsofulls_it! Did you see MTP today? Go to Hotair, there is a clip of her bashing Sarah!!!! The nerve of that old biddy! I am sick of Obama, too!

dawndawn - Debate Moderators

By the way, I loved the way Tom Brokaw was acting like a little kid. Boo!! Hoo! You two signed the papers with the rules and now you are going against them. I actually thought Gwen was a heck of a lot better.

I can't believe I used to like Brokaw and watch the NBC Nightly News. Wow - the days when the media did not try to ram a candidate down your throat. Stop the madness now.

I am wondering how Bob will do on Wednesday. I really do wish they would get a better format. By the way heard McCain and Palin on the news, they are pretty pumped up. Heard a few words of Obama before I hit mute. His economic plan is just wonderful. Yipeee!

Hi, Sue!

Debate Moderators! I will never understand how the RNC could agree to these three!!! Still trying to figure out what Tommy was doing there at what was NOT a Town Hall!!! We will see if Bobby asks any real questions of That One and hopefully, JMac will get in a good lick or two. He is kinda cute sometimes. Still don`t know if I can watch it! Thanks for stopping by, Sue!
