I Was A Teenage Rezombiecan

Great stuff, Cyne!

I just LOVE the conservative revolt against the GOP hacks, that fat f**k Gingrich included.

Maybe even especially.

BTW, he doesn't see his own hypocrisy in chastising others about weighing in on a local election? Did he move there from Georgia, or what? Another classic case of elitist "do as I say, not as I do".

He is SOOOOOOO past his "use by" date. He hasn't jumped the shark; he bored the shark to death.

Hot damn! I never thought I'd grow up to be an anarchist, but when it comes to destroying the entrenched GOP heirarchy, I am soooo there!

Man, we were WAY out in front of the curve on this whole thing.

LOL

BrianR

You stole my thunder.

I sent Hoffman fifty bucks! Watching the blueblood RINOs go extinct is PRICELESS!

We've come a long way...

...since those dark days last year when we were all dug in at the Orphanage and generally personae non gratae at most of the blogs on TH.

Conservatives have been sending this message since Juan McAmnesty tried to shove amnesty down our throats. IMO, that's when he lost the '08 election, November was just a formality.

I'm happy to see some of the established names finally showing up. It's been lonely here in SCDSland!

Let the Purge begin!!!

Hahahahaha!

Yeah, guys!

BTW, you've heard of The Three Amigos? The Three Musketeers?

We're The Three Sergeants, raising hell wherever we go.

hey Wulf!

What I don't get is these stupid asp Republicans who act as if the sky is going to fall if Hoffman gets elected. They whine about Hoffman not having a (R) beside his name, and that they NEED Scozzafava to join the caucus...as if Hoffman is going to caucus with anyone OTHER than the GOP! I mean, the guy's a Republican for Pete's Sake, and is only running on the Conservative Party ticket because the Republicans went with Arlene Specterfava...a person who was shoppng her wares to the Democrats right until the NY GOP leaders paid the rate to get her in the room.

As for Newt, that guy ain't a conservative...he's a politician. All he cares about is winning and he's been that way since he got his grubby little hands on the Speaker's gavel back in the day. Why conservatives ever listen to that crumb-bum is beyond me!

And now that I'm finished, I'll read the other comments!

Great stuff Cyne,

I hope Hoffman wins,...that'd send a real clear message to the RINO/repubs!

OT, but I read today that Cheney is going to support KBH in Texas over Perry.

That's disturbing and I don't think many Texans are gonna like that!

Cynewulf

NY-23 is a great example of what's wrong with the GOP, or as Brian says GOP=SP.

If you have a conservative district why run a liberal, and how about Newt's lame reasons for his support of Scozzafava. Is he supposed to be a conservative? He just f**ked over all of us that are.

Brian, Gunny, Sarge,

The 3 Sarges - is that like The 3 Tenors?

One of the Townhall bloggers (Matt Lewis?) thinks Newt won't suffer any long term damage, but I'm not so sure. If this was a year ago, I might agree, but in this climate, I think he took aim at his foot and unloaded the whole clip.

Flag,

"What I don't get is these stupid asp Republicans who act as if the sky is going to fall if Hoffman gets elected."

Yeah, though that seems to be a pretty small group and growing smaller all the time; having said that, the remaining dregs will be all the more vocal.

Taz,

Yeah, just read about the Cheney endorsement. He's got nothing to lose, really. At the end of the day, it's a smudge on his record, and I don't see it altering the outcome of that race.

Jev,

I thoroughly agree. While I was disappointed in Newt's endorsement of the Repuplican leftist, I was even more taken aback by his underhanded tactics. For instance, Newt says that Hoffman lives out of the district, like he's some kind of carpet bagger. But in reality, Hoffman's house had been in that district until a couple years when Republican gerrymandering put him in a neighboring district. Even so, he lives a mere 10 minutes away. And Newt tries to paint him as not knowing the local politics? What respect I had for Newt, and it was not inconsiderable, is now completely gone.

Good news Cyne,

let's hope we get a lot more of it, otherwise I still don't see any reason to expect much in 2010 or even 2012. I don't care how many reasons the Dims give folks to vote against them, if you want to beat them you've got to give folks reasons to vote for you, and the last time the Reps did that we were all a lot younger, and we all respected Newt a lot more.

Gingrich needs to retire and od what...

...he's good at. Writing history books. You bring up Rubio of FL. I'd say just as important a race to watch as NY23rd. Crist is a pure 100% liberal rino. I'm hoping Palin and a few others will jump in and help him out. Not that it'll help sway the Rezombiecans in FL, though. DD

PhilCon,

"...the last time the Reps did that we were all a lot younger, and we all respected Newt a lot more."

Ain't that the truth! I'm feeling pretty good about things though. The new crop of conservatives (Rubio, Jindal, etc.) look like they have their heads in the game.

DD,

Being a Florida native, I can tell you that Crist is not only a Rino, but seems to be unethical in his dealings, if not downright corrupt. I think Rubio will do well; he's the real deal.

cyne

Get rid of those RINOS in the GOP and have the conservatives show what staying true to principles really is.

I think conservatism is not only a cure for rezombiecans, but common sense as well.

Ha!

Even Michael Deahead gets it!

That must mean it's SOOOOOOOO glaringly obvious only a complete moron wouldn't.

"Three TENORS"????!!!!!

TENORS??????

Dude, we were sergeants. We don't scream. We THUNDER!

Think baritone, and work with that.

Eric,

Yeah, there's always going to be your odd Rino in the party that pops up in a ultra blue state (some of them may even be semi-useful - just a hypothesis; I don't have any facts to back that up), but do we have to go around cultivating them, particularly in red states?

Brian,

I knew you would like the Medved bit. I mean if he's backing Hoffman, what does that tell you about the peeps backing The Scozz?

"TENORS?????? Dude, we were sergeants. We don't scream. We THUNDER!"

The Protesting Too Much meter is off the charts. Just kidding. The Three Baritones it is. Going on their Three Sarge Night tour.

Wulf

Medved? I'm not sure that's a positive when it comes to endorsements. I would have guessed he would come to the rescue of the Jolly Green Butter Bean but the winds are clearly blowing the other direction so I'll take that as a timid "Me Too".

Did you ever notice how a simple observation such as noticing the first three commenter's can suddenly spin out of control?

Three Sarge Night Tour! HaHaHa! I love it!

I can see it now: Carnegie Hall welcomes you to an evening of abuse....LOL!

Newt Goes Nuts, Cyne

I knew Newt had problems when he did the global warming commercials. You have to wonder if the 1992 Newt would have done those ads or if the Washington "mindset" corrupted him?

Perhaps Newt's actions in the last 3 or 4 years are just another reason to get term limits. It almost seems that the coruption in DC eventually gets to everybody.

But this Hoffman deal is proving to be a "turning point". The effect of this vast support for a true Conservative candidate is scaring the RINO's to death.

Purge all RINO's time?

Maybe not yet, but it is coming and coming fast. I believe we will know it is here when more RINO's switch and join the Democrat Party as "moderate" Democrats.

Sarge,

Carnegie Hall welcomes you to an evening with Three Sarge Night. Jelly Donut provided.

http://www.milkandcookies.com/link/109470/detail/

GG,

Yeah, Ghost, I agree; I do think this is a turning point. This has the potential to be a true agent of change, and we could then say that The Big O was true to his word in regards to "change," in a round about way. It would even be change I could believe in.

Cynewulf

I have always loved that scene, mostly because it has happen thousands of time in boot camp. I don't remember ever see a jelly doughnut at Parris Island but it is a movie, right?

I got an email from some our local Tea Party members who are working the election in NY-23. Here's part of it:

"Polls are showing Hoffman in the lead, and the events we've been to suggest that the Democrat and the Republican are both underdogs.

We believe the conservative candidate in this race can win this, and we believe it will be a HUGE victory for the Tea Party Movement."

I've only known the source since April so I take with a grain of salt but it looks good.

Sarge,

Hoffman definitely seems to have the momentum. I hear Kos has withdrawn his support of The Scozz and isnt' backing anyone in the race. He says it's because no one in the race is far enough to the left, but it seems to me he's just weaseling out of being on the losing side.

Yeah, Gunny,

Matt Lewis seems to think that conservatives won't cool on Newt, but I think he's underestimating the wave we're riding.

I've got an update

at my place as well. It seems that the DAILY KOOK is reporting that Hoffman is within one point of the Dem in Noo Yawk-23, with Scozzafava falling far behind. If the DAILY KOOK is admitting it, then Hoffman must really have the momentum.

Brian, 3 Sergeants?

I ain't a Sergeant. I'm a Petty Officer First Class. Well, for another 94 days anyway....

Tazzmax

KBH has been good on most issues in the Senate, but occasionally wishy-washy. Perry was a big nothing for the first few years of his governorship, but has really grown into the job in the past 4 years. I'm voting for Perry.

Now if I can only win a big Powerball or Mega Millions soon, I could run for KBH's Senate seat!

Crist in Florida

He only won his job because he was Jeb Bush's Lt Gov. His biggest asset is his George Hamilton style tan.

Oh, and Wulf....

A quote from Monty Python and the Holy Grail really fits in with the situation regarding Gingrich....
"She turned me into a NEWT!........I got better."

Wow, Cyne

I think it's kind of a toss-up on the "dumb crook" parade.

Maybe Crist was sharing in that bearded guy's brewskis.

They watched that Johnny Walker video too many times and decided to over-sample the wares.

I don't think there's three IQ points among the three of them.

Great news!

Another RINO bites the dust!

Scozz just dropped out of the NY race!

Another black eye for Steele and the establishment GOP RINOs, including Gingrich.

Craw,

"He only won his job because he was Jeb Bush's Lt Gov. His biggest asset is his George Hamilton style tan."

And the funny thing is that Jeb doesn't like Crist; his sons are apparently supporting Rubio, and I wouldn't be surprised if at some point Rubio gets Jeb's endorsement.

Brian,

Yeah, not a whole lot of brain power amongst the lot of them.

And thanks for the news on NY23! I noted it in an update. I think this may well be a game-changer for us.

Ya really gotta laugh

at that pathetic fool Gingrich:

"The Newt thinks this will destroy the party."

Well, duh! The party as it stands now NEEDS to be "destroyed"!

Someone needs to send that idiot back to Georgia.

Cynewulf

Think I'd rather cast my lot with the "would-be robbers" as opposed to ANYONE the RNC and such STALWART hacks as Gingrich would be backing. Tell the idiots time and AGAIN,NO RINOS. So,what do they do? Go even FARTHER to the left with the twit Scazzofavabeans. The RNC,along with the GOP hierarchy, deserves the 40 years of wandering that IS coming should they continue down this s#!t-lined trail.

Cynewulf

It pains me to say it but the magic marker bandits would be step up for the GOP.

The Scuzzy withdrawal is an important moment for the conservative movement. Newt is now trying to drop the bag he got left holding by endorsing Hoffman.

I think I would have preferred that she stay in since she was hurting the democrat as much as the conservative. This could be a close one. I wonder how many people have already voted by absentee or early voting?

Brian, Clyde, Sarge,

Brian,

Apparently he's even mentioned a run for President (he doesn't want to, but if he sees a need...). I'm thinking that plane's not getting off the ground.

Clyde,

I've heard alot of talk about how the RNC has to support who the local GOP picks, but, as Brian has noted, somehow when it's a conservative who is nominated, the funds don't flow to him. Oddly, the RNC's strategery never involves supporting conservatives.

Sarge,

That seems to be the consensus, that the marker bandits have a slight edge in the wits department. As for NY23, the numbers I've seen seem to show a Hoffman victory. But counting chickens and all that...

Ha!

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

if that pig Gingrich somehow gets the GOP nomination, they should prepare themselves for another disastrous loss.

If that happens, I won't just vote Third Party: I'll vote for Obambi's re-election.

Two, three times, even...

The Scuzz endorses Owens!

Now ain't that rich! The solid republican candidate thinks the people would be better served by a democrat than a conservative.

I only hope that the noseholders are paying attention. RINO's are democrats, that's why they are called RINOs!
