Our Greatest Threat

aren't all the other nations of the earth even more sinful, and deserving a quicker more devastating judgement? The athiest Chinese? The corrupt French and Germans, the murderous and barbaric beheaders in Iraq, the political assassins in Russia? Yes, we sin. I admit my sin and ask for grace and forgiveness and help to make my way in this world in a way the Lord would have me. But America does the greatest good in the world today, freed more enslaved peoples, and helped at every disaster. As a people, we are more good than bad. Yet the most Christian nation on earth knows it sins, and works diligently to gain redemption. Yes, the end is coming and with it judgement. But Christians have been bracing themselves for the afterlife for 2000 years. It's just closer now. Thanks for the good thoughts.

Does any other nation on the earth claim to be a Christian nation in the 21st Century? America does. America has been blessed beyond measure. All the evidence I need to prove that is that America, with 6% of the world's population, uses over half of the world's energy needs. What is our thanks to God? We pollute the world's minds with the pornographic filth spewing out of the world's entertainment center, Hollywood. The filth is not only of a sexual nature but is also unbelieveably ghastly in a violent nature. Where is a Jack Valenti putting the restrictions on the bloodletting and gore of such movies as "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", or the recent "Saw" movies. Youngsters, who under peer pressure, go to see movies such as the "Scream" trilogy and cheer and clap when characters get the axe literally. I believe it is a defensive emotional mechanism so they can absorb the horror their eyes are taking in. I believe certain Hollywood directors of a craven nature are actually worshippers of the devil and are performing an act of worship producing the ghastly movies they do.
I don't believe in replacement theology, that either the true Christian church or America has replaced Israel in Biblical prophesy but I believe God will send the world a strong message when He judges America. The rest of the world has already been judged and will be judged. The darkness in the Middle East where women's status is only slightly above that of pets, the falling birthrate of Europe in the which a Muslim enemy is pouring in to fill the void and the poverty and backwardness of the rest of the "turd" world is evidence of that.
America does good in the world, yes, more than any other nation and, of course, we know the thanks we get for that. But America is NOT more good than she is bad. Atleast not according to the standards of the great God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ (let me just interject here a side note: human wisdom says that all the major religions of the world worship God, but in different ways. The God of the Bible identifies Himself as the God of the Jews. Am I supposed to be convinced that the Muslim god Allah is that same God? No, a thousand times no, for he is a different god. The Bible calls Allah the god of this world. I don't think I need to elaborate here).
