The Governor can handle this well if he repents, asks for forgivness(and means it), and takes his medicine.

The goal of our Heavenly Father(as should be true Christians) is for true repentance, forgivness, healing and restoration for the Gov., his family, and the nation.

The death that is incurred is manifest in loss of trust, privleges, and opportunities. The effect of his selfishness is a huge ripple effect and is brought to bear on his wife and family especially, of course.

Praying for those caught up in transgression is our responsibility and proof that we truly care. We can demonstrate that we are still strong in our Christian faith, even if the President is in denial.

Lord, Have mercy on the Sanfords and give grace to the Gov. to truly repent. In Jesus name. (Insert John Edwards or any other person who needs God's help)

There goes the Christian in me, Praise God!!
