The problem with black leaders is they use the "plight" of black Americans against them. Instead of leading them out of the situation they are in. They lead them to stay there. One of the most outspoken people on this situation is Bill Cosby. He basically has said get up and make something of yourself. Stop leaning on the slavery, against the establishment crutch. Because this is what is happening. Your hip hop stars promote at risk, get something for nothing, control your life with a Glock lifestyle. How about instead of making yourself stand out, try to blend in like all other cultures have in the US and contribute to society. Instead of going against it. My Irish grandparents told me of the bigotry used towards them when they first moved here. In the early 1900's it was actually better to be black than it was to be Irish.
