Classic picture
I predict that picture will be remembered as a turning point in history. Right up there with the Firefighters mounting our Flag upon the rubble in New York.
Be it IslamicFascist or john kerry- try as they may- the United States of America will always raise the bet. In a Cowboy like fashion no less.
That picture is yet another of the many reasons why I'm proud to be an American.

Pardon Mee
I was forced to serve in the Military. So I missed out on all the educational opertunities given to me by President carter. Raygun put a stop to that. I had no choice but to enlist.
So I'm sorry for saying "firefighters mounting our flag" in my last comment.
My prepared statement was this:
"Firefighters raising our Flag". If you are so dence as to be offended by my original statement. I'm sorry for your views. And I will not say I'm sorry. No matter how much I say I'm sorry.

If it's any consolation
Stephen Colbert's Press Club speech didn't make the papers until 4 days or so. Most papers didn't even mention Colbert at all, let alone the reaction to him!
I'm losing track... does this prove there is a liberal bias, or there isn't?

Piker..
did anyone e mail you that picture two days ago when it was flying around the internet?
I find it telling that the newspapers printed Kerrys "apology" on the front pages, with a picture of him, but not of the troops.
Did you see/hear any reaction from troops serving overseas on how they reacted to Kerrys "botched joke"?

didn't get the picture in email...
...But I don't travel in those circles, except when I'm here or the Ashbrook Institute's NO LEFT TURNS site.
That picture, while funny, is a side story. The very famous Kerry apologizing IS front page news; had he waited a few more days the picture might have acquired a little more weight and made it to the front page itself, because it would add to the narrative of a very famous person.
Oh I give up. The picture was suppressed by the liberal media cabal to protect our beloved failed presidential candidate. A lot of journalists have already been disappeared for just bringing up the quote in the first place!

I give up Piker..
You are right, (no pun intended) there is no media bias. All of the networks and newspapers don't have an agenda. Not trying to further any political viewpoints either.
I'm thinking we agree to disagree on this one.

We might as well
There will never be conclusive proof for either of us, perhaps because the term Mainstream Media is pretty amorphous. I will grant you that every person involved in media has a bias one way or the other, whether expressed or not.
Whatever. Let's be friends.
