Good grief this sounds like the explaination of the theory behind global warming to a tee.

Now I agree that the globe is slightly warming, but disagree the cause is man himself.

Weather cycles are common and the current history we have of actual recorded temperatures is so short that there is no way to conclude we are the primary cause of what is happening.

Yes, I know the article wasn't about global warming, but that one paragraph sure could be
used to explain the theory.
