My Kind Of Town!
Very good recap of Chicago politics, Mind! Also, amabO always says he`s from Chicago and got his start there. No surprises. It`s a flat fact he always eliminated the competition when he ran (by himself) for state office. And the divorce records of the GOP guy were mysteriously made public before the 2004 race. I doubt very much that this would have had that much affect on the electorate had it come out earlier. We will never know. I did read that Tony Rezko is singing like a canary choir with organ music. Kinda think Blago may have a few cards up his sleeve to play since he refuses to resign. It is nothing if not entertaining!

But Eliot Ness Killed Capone's Mob. Eh?
How many heads can this monster grow? Are we reading a Homeric epic?

Thanks, and you're right about that divorce. That was Jack Ryan, who probably would have won that senate seat if those records with actress Jeri Ryan wasn't made public. I also agree that Blagojevich has something up his sleeves and might want to take several people down with him. I don't think one of those people is Obama, but if he can bring down people like Mayor Daley, that would be a great thing.

Maybe, but in Homer's epics the good guys win in the end. I don't think it will end that way here.
