The seemingly endless war here on Th and throughout the media on conservatie ideals. Has created a political vacuum which Obama is poised to enter.

In a recent column by Bob Barr, i likend a vote for mccain to a punt. Which is basically a strategic retreat for better positioning later.

Sounds like you have come to the same conclusion.

i am in California and knew my vote would not be important for a win or loss. No way would I ever vote for Obama. Well got a call from my oldest friend in SD that I met at the young republicans and she was not voting for McCain. When it came down to it I couldnt either. She said she was voting for a black man. Well, I was even thinking Ralph Nador was sounding more conservative than McCain. Will anyways I voted for Alan Keys too. I called my dad and said that I voted for him and he said what the nut job who believes in reparations. I replied John McCain believes that illegal aliens have more rights than U.S. citizens. My dad actually hang up on me. Haven't talked to him since. What the heck, will call him in the morning and won't discuss the topic. Good night all and may the spirit of our founding fathers survive this election cycle.
