HOMESCHOOLING IN AMERICA

Never mind that homeschooled kids out do public and private kids in most tests. They often do much better in college then any other group. They get a education tailored closely, for each kid, at their own rate of learning. There are many different resources for parents to enrich their kids education if they are a little weak in a subject or its something you can't do on your own. I can't think of an educational system that more child-oriented then homeschooling.

Nope, its mocked, scorned by the media, politicians and the teachers union. They try to regulate it, ban it outright (california), or set "education" experts on it. The kids are to "sheltered", the education is too "one sided", they don't get enough "social" interaction. All nonsense (at least with the homeschooled kids I know).

They criticize endlessly on the only educational system that seems to be working for the majority of those in it.
And they say the kids come first.

Thank You Sir, your right and I couldn't agree you more. It's always encouraging to know that there are others out there dealing with the same issues.
