Here's "HOPING" Obama "CHANGES" His Spam Policy

Opt in Lists

Campaign emails are populated in a variety of ways. You can opt in on the website, through the mail or at an event. You can likewise opt out at the end over every message sent by any campaign (note the unsubscribe option). Also, phone numbers, specifically unlisted cell phone numbers can also only be obtained by a campaign if you give them (although sometimes indirectly). For example if you attended a community forum, on education, health care or any other number of Democratic leaning causes, where a sign up sheet was passed around, you're name might have gotten added to the list. Finally, and I believe this is how your whole little Secret Service fiasco happened, if you vote in a Democratic Primary, those sign in sheets are a matter of public record (providing the local party didn't lose those records which often happens, particularly in a state like Texas with a very disorganized party). I think, and you may claim otherwise, that you voted for Hillary Clinton as a part of Rush Limbaugh's little "Operation Chaos" idea to extend the primary fight between Democrats. The short solution to your problem is just to either click the opt out at the bottom of any political email you don't want to receive or just hit reply and put "unsubscribe" in the subject line.

Opt In Lists (Response)

One, I have opted out and it doesn't stop the emails. I can't even get them to go to my spam box.

Two, I will repeat it more clearly: I have never attended a Democratic event, fundraiser, meeting. I have never signed a sign in sheet. I have never voted for a Democrat including Hillary, though I may have taken her over McCain if that was my choice in the general election. Next Tuesday will be the first time I have ever attended a community meeting that wasn't a Sunday Service. I credit Obama and his race-baiting, quasi-socialist, fully nebulous "Change" campaign with the motivation.

Three, the only time I have ever heard Rush Limbaugh was once on a long drive to NJ. I have read David Limbaugh, but never paid much attention to Rush. I know who he is of course for the explicit reason that media minions the Left have blamed him publicly for everything from the hijacking of the Republican Party by the 'Radical Right' to the bludgeoning of a gay guy.

Believe it or not, I wasn't an activist of any sort except in my own circle of friends. I smart-mouthed a campaign caller and wound up with the Secret Service questioning my 'thoughts' and 'feelings' on my front porch. It ticked me off. I have since been told by people in my very small town that we were under surveillance by undercover police until they determined we were not a threat. More than anything I am a small-government advocate. The strengthening of a central government is not only dangerous to liberty, it has proven an expensive and useless pursuit which has done nothing to curb poverty, teen pregnancy, stds, drug addiction or any of the other perfectly noble goals advocated by social engineers. I didn't like Bush doing it and I don't like Obama doing it either.
