Obama's Mr. Wright

Much as I hate to admit it, I think this controversey with the Rev. Wright will blow over. Some of his remarks over the years were outrageous, but the the liberal press will work to sand off the rough edges. Further, Obama's opponents, both Dems and Republicans, called upon him to repudiate Mr. Wright, which maybe inadvertantly, played to Obama's strong suit. He had to say something, so he took the opportunity to deliver one of his smooth, melodious, soothing speeches, which seem to captivate millions. He hopes the speech will put the issue to bed and his opponents will want to bury the memory of the speech and move on, too.
