Something to Think About

Think About this!

I believe our politicians have forgotten our America! Our goverment closed Military bases around the USA which financially devastated the surrounding communities. We maintain Military bases around the world which financially supports the countries they are in. The money paid to our military personell is spent there and goes that countries coffers. I believe we need to take care of America first or as my grandparents said "Charity begins at home".

We don't have enough Military in this country right now to stop a foreign invasion. We are at the mercy of our enemies, isn't it time we become stronger with our Military being based in our country. We ahve no business trying to control the world when we can't even take care of our elderly, indigent, and sick. The money we send out of this country can be invested in jobs, technology, healthcare, etc., etc. Less than 0.5% of our population is in the military and most of them are scattered around the world, even our National Guard has been deployed else where. We need to bring build new military bases here at home this will do several things for our country. 1. Improve our National Security. 2 Provide jobs to build new military bases. 3. Use our technology to monitor the world via satellites and use our superior technology to set weaponry to protect our country from possible invasions. Stop borrowing money from other countries to give to other nations. If other nations need money let them ask for it, and not expect us to borrow money to give to what is in many cases a total waste of time and money. We need to protect the financial security of our nation. Should We Take Care of America First!
Let me hear your comments on how you think we need to procede.

Something to Think About

A perfect quote, considering what we're seeing going on to our financial system... The S & L scandals of the 80's provided us with clear evidence of the dangers of 'deregulation' yet nothing was done to truly fix the inherent risks deregulated markets posed to the American people until the last moment (i.e. now), while the best connected and most wealthiest among us have made out like bandits for nearly thirty years...

498% of all profits generated since NAFTA was enacted and The U.S. entered into a new era of international free trade that's taken place in a globalized economy have been made by.... the TOP 000.1% of all American earners... while millions of American workers have lost good paying unionized positions to job relocation and outsourcing because of our entry into free trade agreements.

Remember the debate about NAFTA? The Billary Clinton's claimed, "NAFTA would only cost Americans a 'few dead end jobs' if enacted..." Economists claimed NAFTA would strengthen the American middle class and help grow a global middle class...

The truth was that the corporations lobbying Billary to enact NAFTA did so because they wanted to cut costs by taking advantage of the new regulations NAFTA would usher in: Namely relocating manufacturing plants and unionized work forces in the U.S. to developing nations that offered subsidies, tax breaks, little to no regulatory standards, and a far cheaper, non- unionized, work force.

Billary knew that by passing NAFTA Americans wouldn't lose a few dead end jobs; We'd lose millions of jobs.

Yup... Perfect quote...

The nature of our warfare

Until we come to grips with the fact that "our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places," we cannot anticipate meaningful change.

This is not about ideology; this is about evil. We cannot expect better outcomes from elections, until we see the power of God flowing from the pulpit to the pew and from the per to the neighborhood. That is the way it has always been, and that is the way it will remain. As long as the pulpits continue to sound like Rev. Wright lite, there will be no improvement. Study the American spiritual awakenings of the 1700's and 1800's and consider the positive social aftermath.

Well iterated, Walt.

Just two minor things: (1) It's Tytler and (2) it's PRESIDENT, not Senator Obama.
