Philly's long in the tooth!
Where the heck are we in this nation?

Obama: The Teflon Candidate?
As I write this on a Sat. night, Sen Obama has swept the caucuses and primaries for this day. Huckabee continues to hold on against the inevitable. Newt addressed CPAC today and noted the "chilling" fact that a record number of Democrats have voted so far, outnumbering the GOP 3 to 2. They also ran out of ballots in Kansas, so they had people vote for Obama on photocopies.
Some have compared this guy to JFK, but he reminds me more of Bobby. He had little experience out of government service and served in the Senate for only a handful of months by the time he was killed. If he had lived and become President, I don't believe he would have been good for the country. He might have committed more crimes and misdemeanors than Nixon did. People forget how ruthless he was. They only remember the legacy of Camelot.
So now we have this charismatic young man, who is beating the Clinton Slime Machine. Nothing negative seems to stick to him (remind you of someone else?). Who woulda thunk it? Polling tonight shows Hillary losing more of her base--the women's vote.
The only hopeful sign is that we are months away from the conventions and the first Tuesday in November. Anything can happen in the USA and the world. Who would have picked the NY Giants to win the Super Bowl last Labor Day? Along with awaiting Christ's return, we must continue to fast and pray. Blessings, John

Can't disagree
Well we heard all the attacks against the faith-Christian community, namely for its political influence. So the left finally built a faith-based campaign of its own. (change you can believe in) Too much irony.
What the press creates it can destroy. In OB's case, let's "hope" and see. Move over Mac, you may be back but you've been upstaged. You have to share the limelight- if you get any. There are politicians and egomaniacs, and then there are politicians who can suck every ounce of oxygen from a room. Empty suit fits.

The Cult of Obama
What is so scary is that the Dems are simply being led by the Pied Piper of populism and a cult of messiahship which is what liberals love. They hate any organized historical religion, except , of course, Islam. They think we poor Americans have overextended our power against these poor misunderstood jihadists. Change will bring real pacifist socialism to America and and end to what we know about free enterprise and military superiority.
