Obama actually said this at the beginning:

"If your revenue is above 250, then from 250 down your taxes are going to stay the same. It is true that, say for 250 up, say from 250-300 or so....you'd go from 36 to 39% which is what it was under Bill Clinton."

Lastly, Article I, Section 9, Clause 4 prohibits "direct taxes" unless laid in accordance with the census, so technically the direct tax is illegal, and, also since it's not a normal income tax but is where the government acts as a pass-through, with a targeted class of people to distribute too, it violates the 10th Amendment and the 13th Amendment prohibition of slavery. Seems Obama's appeal is that he is enslaving the wealthy with this plan, however, his market doesn't realize he is enslaving them to government providing for us.

Truly dirty person Obama is.
