The Obama Economy

The Obama Administration HAS started, This IS now HIS ECONOMY. He could have come in. lowered taxes on business, suspended capitol Gains and cut income tax across the board then gone off to MAui or whereever he goes in HI and let the free MArkets right themselves. Instead he chose SPENDING and more SPENDING and throwing darts at the wall and hoping one hits. This mess IS his because he has made it his.

Maybe never!

Obama won't claim anything till it has a modicum of success.I thought he could make some inroads on foreign diplomacy, given our enemies want to make Bush look badly, but after he was spurned by Russia and Clinton's willingness to send aid to Hamas dominated Gaza,I think it's going to be a while.

Like KevinFl said

it has started. The market doesn't believe in his policies at all! It's funny, he went back to blaming Bush again, and has his media lapdogs attacking republicans and Rush. All diversionary tactics. Right now we should add "No" in front of his "Hope" signs. I can't wait to put somebody else in the oval office.

Thanks, folks.

My question "When does the Obama administration start?" was most assuredly tongue in cheek. Obviously, this is now HIS economy. The market started to really tank the day after the election with expectations of his agenda. Makes you wonder how he got enough votes to win, doesn't it?

Excusing Geithner's tax-cheating was his first mistake, as it is not clear that he has any idea what to do next.

Obama's lack of experience - and even knowledge - in foreign affairs is definitely showing. He claimed during the campaign that he was experienced in this area because he lived and went to school overseas as a six year old. His policies with respect to dealing with Russia and the PLO/Hamas look like a six-year old's foreign policy.

Thanks for your comments, KevInFL, sloandog, and Eric.

Well, I saw Tim was babbling about the "Bush" deficit.
Now according to some articles, the "shovels have hit the ground."

I think the administration starts and is when positive things start happening. When something negative happens, even month, heck a few years from now, it will be all Bush's fault.
