Looks like your blog is new. Welcome to Townhall. We will disagree on several points--I am prolife rather than prochoice for example--but we will agree on other points.

You are right about the dominionists. As much as I am a fundamentalist like many of them, I am against the dominionism spirit. The basic tenet of their group is that they cannot trust whom they can't control.

I saw your comments on Bob Siegel's website. Bob is a good guy but pretty much believes that this is and/or should be a Christian country. I agree with you on the slippery slope argument.

I don't think Bob fully knows how many gays feel. I don't either but I got a brief glimpse of it when an important friend of mine reemerged in my life. My friend's disappearance was because of fear that I would reject my friend if I knew my friend was gay. Though I believe that homosexuality is wrong, I believe it is wrong in the Church but that homosexuals should be regarded as fully equal to heterosexuals in society. It is great to have my friend back in life.

David, this is how I am able to get a not directly to you regarding my two posts on homosexuality. Both were intended as "what if" arguments, but with serious questions. You mention three irrefutable studies. What are they? If they are irrefutable, why do we not have universal agreement on the genetic basis for homosexuality? Were these studies presented in academic journals?

LOL you took exception with my comments on choice in Mike Adams column. PLEASE go back and re-read my comments. They were entirely satirical, and I thought that would be obvious.

It was an attempt to point out just how ridiculous it would be for ANYONE to CHOOSE homosexuality UNLESS they were born with that disposition.

My sister is Lesbian and very active in her community (politically active i try not to think about her other activities). I attended her "commitment" ceremony because marriage was denied her in FLA.

I KNOW she was BORN liking women better then men. She has suffered ridicule, shame, denial of marriage to the person she loved etc, harrasment and problems at work because of her sexual orientation. The whole satirical point of my comments on Adams is why would anyone CHOOSE that?

Oh yes and my spelling is atrocious and no I was not home schooled in a trailer park but have a BS in Biology from Temple U in PA.

Re-read my post you took offense to and if you do not see that I was being satirical then I will make a public apology to you on the site.
