too funny. I wonder if he will actually go to Fairbanks and explain warming to the sculptor. Of course, that would require him firing up the private jet and expanding his carbon footprint, so he would have to buy some credits from himself.

We are so totally washed up
as a country if we don't band together as conservatives and speak up loud and clear every day about this globull warming scam, (and others). I am convinced that if conservatives would unify and say enough is enough and say it loud enough, long enough and not cave in, we could turn things around in our country. If we don't do it, we're toast. Having a hard time maintaining optimism under the circumstances. Topday is a major downer.
Good post Bdubya.

Please inform the U.N., bdubya, that
the United States is no longer a "rich nation". It has become a debtor nation, one that replaced trickle-down economics with trickle-up poverty.

The one thing we can thank "W" for...
...at least is that he resisted all this nonsense. He didn't, as most conservatives want, outright oppose it. When you find a GOP politician who'll aggressively oppose it, that'll be someone w/some real courage as the dem's, the rino's, the msm and the greenies are going to attack them. We'll need to give them our support. DD

I'd like to see the stones on whomever that may be. Imhofe is one of the few I can name off hand. It certainly isn't Juan effin McCain. I appreciated W for his Kyota stance, and the left never talks about the dems in congress voting against it as well. That may be our leverage. We expose them for selling out reality in their rhetoric, but voting common sense or NIMBY when the rubber hits the road.
Thanks for stopping.

I'll gladly accept the post of UN Ambassador, so I could tell that body to pizzoff on a daily basis.

Of course we know
that GW is a fraud but what will the Pubs do to stop the waste of taxation and spending and not having energy independence? We know they can do nothing. Even BO spoke of it today in his speech. It matters not that the % is cooler for the last two years than in decades. The Greens do not believe that and want socialism. So on it will go in spite of what the facts say. Waxman will get his way and the rest of us will suffer as gas prices will continue to climb though barrels of oil go down to $33.

Oil and coal are the most efficient source we have for the technology we have, and if carbon is not the problem they make it out to be, we need to tweak it a bit instead of overhauling the world. We just can't afford it, and the cure is worse than the disease.

No I'm not...especially after a couple of tequila shots! Bolton gave 'em a bit of hell, but he was still politically correct about it. I wouldn't be...not in the least!

Right on
bdubya, I hope things will be warming up in your parts. It kills me hearing this global warming nonsense in the midst of record breaking low temperatures. As you say, this stuff is only a tactic to bring our country down in economic status. The Marxist mindset views our country as a hindrance to others, and yet, it is America that has pulled other countries up in economic status. The net result of the Marxist/global warming idiocy will be to hinder economic growth worldwide. The ones that are being hit hardest are those in the undeveloped countries. His an interesting article of how our "progressive" and "compassionate" government policies help the poor around the world.

well done
Very well put together, bdubya. I've been writing about this subject for a few years now and have been talking about it for many more. I always brought up that it's an increase in sunspot activity that was warming our planet, and that it was a decrease in sunspot activity that cooled it in the 60s and 70s. Scientists are even right about what caused the cooling. Their projections were WAY off though. I guess they thought it was going to last hundreds of years instead of just twenty or so. I also wrote before last year that it was going to cool sometime in the near future and it will be because of a drop in sunspot activity. Funny thing that it happened right after that. I also pointed out Mars warmed more than Earth did in the 90s, according to NASA. The question I always ask these delusional lemmings is how can man make us go from the talk of ice age (which they were still talking about in 1980), to the talk of global warming (since the UN first came out with global warming findings in 1988) within nine years? They can't answer it because they know it's impossible for man to have such an effect. Al would go nowhere near answering that question.

Thanks for your comments. The truly terrible thing is the degree of disconnect between the 2 sides of the issue. And unfortunately, the incorrect assessment is being crammed down our collective throats to advance a truly Marxist ideal. Every day, their case gets disproven, and yet we have idjuts in the EPA ready to force Barry into calling carbon a pollutant. That will be the beginning of the end.
