The local democrats here don't necessarily all consider their selves liberals.

It is true that many Catholics are partial to being partisan as democrats. I am waiting for arguments to convince me to change my mind about voting republican. I haven't heard any practical solutions for the economy and the federal deficit coming form the Obama campaign. Just keep saying, "spending freeze, spending freeze." Ronald Reagan always won that debate. John Mc Cain Has won this debate too.
