The Light in the Darkness

Darkness highlights the light
I know exactly what you mean because Alaska has vast distances of highway between the major cities much like Wyoming does. When you drive it during the day (or the summer, when it is always day-ish) you don't notice the little cabins off the side of the road in the trees. When you drive it at night or in the winter, you find yourself asking "when was that built".
The present world we live in has entered a bit of a twilight. I don't like it, but I do recognize the good in it. First, we are (some of us) starting to see the unnoticed points of light that we'd previously not seen. Second, people are coming to a realization that the old tried and true way of doing things might not have been such a bad idea because this short-cut through the unmapped woods is starting to look like the Blair Witch Project (only done better).

Thanks for stoppping by. I need to catch up as I have not been able to read as much as I'd like around here.
I agree that people are starting to change how they view things, and I hope they make some serious changes due to their newfound discoveries.
Yeah, as to Alaska, I'd love to get up there someday. I am finding I love the open spaces. While WYO has fewer people, its probably a quarter the size so AK probably has more space...

...The ear that hears the rebukes of life will abide among the wise. (Pro 15:31) Rebukes can be gentle, as you show here by meditating on the immediate situation with a biblical worldview. Well done. This is a skill I am only beginning to come to grips with, let alone master.
