When asking your questions regarding what Jacob believes governments duties are, yo make the same error in analysis that you accuse him of, that is exageration of the facts.

Jacob never implied he believed government should go as far as you imply in your query. I was able to discern a more moderate belief by Jacob that government was applying far to much regulation and impeding the efficiency of the subjects he mentioned.

You, again, exagerate or expect the exception to be accepted as normal, when you state that socially run businesses can be as efficient as privately run business. The truth has been shown to be that socialism, wherever practiced and in whatever fashion, is no match, in the scheme of actuality, for privately owned, capitalist for profit administration.

An article showing patience, forethought, and intention to promote understanding of what is requires us to be critical thinkers, not moral degraders.
