Kelley, one reason I like to read your pieces is that you offer a perspective that's different from anything else on TH, which tends to be grimly ideological. I believe you're going to go to Heaven when you die -- and get to say hi to grandma, Sam, and many other people. I can't guarantee it, but I do believe it. As the Anglican Book of Common Prayer puts it, "And all shall be well . . . and all manner of things shall be well." The uncertainty of life is part of its appeal. You never know what's going to happen next. I think one of the keys is our need to watch out for other people (in driving and elsewhere), as you discovered the other day. Remember that loving others is the Second Great Commandment. (And of course loving God involves loving His creation, which includes "good ole you and me.") One thing I hope you'll keep in mind is that it is possible for single individuals (and small groups) to change the world, to make it at least a teenie bit better. Anyway, come visit and sign up for Sarah Palin for VP!
