Same goes with these Islamists, they wish to sacrafice themselves, they are willing to die not only to attempt killing American forces, they blow themselves up simply to kill scores of their own people.

It is quite simply, madness.

And I can understand this mans' concern.

We are not there with the intent of beating an enemy to complete and utter submission.

We are not there to kill every Islamist with a rifle.

We are not there to burn every poppy field found.

We are not there to overthrow the disfunctional political structure and establish rule of law.

And if we will not do these things, then his question is, ironically, also yours:

You're right. At least under Bush, we were there for he right reasons. Under Obama, we aren't. But he signed up to work for Obama. Maybe after he realized Obama just doesn't want to win this war, he figured out he wanted no part of it.
