It's a logical fallacy. It it like saying "Hitler was a vegetarian; therefore vegetarians are fascists." If Osama Bin Laden and Tony Snow both said critical things about George Bush in public (and Snow did, back before he worked for the guy) then does that make Snow an Islamo-fascist? OBL a Fox commentator? No, it does not.
