I was fortunate enough to get to ask a question and got one follow up.
I told him I wanted to ask about two things; climate change (ie capn' trade) and healthcare. If we allow the federal government to control the energy sector and the healthcare sector then what aspect of our lives will be off limits to government regulation? Give me something concrete, something tangible, to convince me we are not approaching the point of no return on the road to serfdom. All we seem to get is "Trust me. That won't happen."
Trust me is not good enough. Then I asked if he accepts the premise that government can regulate climate. He said the federal government can't do it alone but, maybe if all the countries worked together... blah, blah, blah...

As I said, you put it so much more eloquently than I did. And he didn't bother to try to answer you,just more non-answers. I came away from that meeting more galvanized than ever against Obamacare.
