Federally-mandated mental health screening for infants? Don’t blame Bush!

We have a meeting at our church called "Free Indeed", which is a biblical 12-step program. It is for people struggling with addictions, compulsive behaviors, codependency, or anything.

The reason the 12-step programs work for groups like AA and the like is that they are scriptural.

The difference here is that our higher power is Jesus, not just someone or something of our "own understanding.

Now, I know there is a place for doctors, medication, and counseling. But, ultimately is is Jesus who heals.

We have a fabulous pastoral staff (with great wives, too). In my own life, my pastors (past and present) have given invaluable counsel.

I think, if it's at all possible, a Christian should seek counsel either from and experienced pastors or Christian professional counselors.

And, it goes without saying that God is the One who brings us to wholeness.

We are definitely headed for Nazi USA. With all the postmodern junk it is a carbon copy of Hitler's Germany. Thanks to Reid and Polosi, Ted Kennedy and others.
