Obama's Pervasive Racism - Wright and La Raza

Mhu

Many people claim that La Raza is not part of the reconquista movement, and their website actually says that they are not part of it, but they are always working with those groups.

If a white group called themselves "The Race", would they be seen as a racist group?

A Convenient Recharacterization

Crawfish, great point.

The short answer is "Yes."

Many do say that La Raza is not part of the reconquista movement. Upon closer inspection, they tend to fall into one of two camps: those who don't know, and those who don't want you to know.

"La Raza" represents two interconnected entities, the formal organization "The National Council of La Raza", and the broader group of folks who consider themselves of like spirit and similar goals, including members of MEChA, Mexica, and other flavors of MesoAmerican reconquista advocacy. Occasionally, the Mexican Mafia and (surprise!) MS-13 jump on their bandwagon, when convenient to do so.

The moneys flow back and forth in an all-for-one, one-for-all confederation.

The Clinton administration went out of its way to annihilate significant "white power" organizations, like the KKK, The Order, Aryan Nations, and other white separatist, neo-Nazi, and Christian Identity groups. Hence, Ruby Ridge, the Waco/Branch Davidian fiasco, etc. They also marginalized many legitimate militias.

So, yeah, "white power" better be used in the context of a laundry soap or the speaker is toast.

At the same time, Clinton excused black and hispanic racist rhetoric, just as Obama made excuses for the tirades heard in Wright's, and many other, black curches and mosques.
