Good post, I couldn't agree more. The last thing I want in the white house is a whiner. A lot of people really like Newt as a mouthpiece for conservatism, but I think he's too smart by half. I'd rather hear Ronald Reagan's straight talk any day. George Bush has a way of really working the libs into a lather and I wish he did more of it.

Amen. Newt is brilliant and I really admire him but he is a very polarizing figure. He is either hated or loved. No in between with him. But he can articulate an issue like none other. Bush's communication gap with the American people has been his greatest weakness and ultimate downfall.
