Eating Crow Over Palin...

First, lauds for your admission of wrongness.
What I like about Sarah Palin is the same thing I like about Danica Patrick and Maria Bartiromo (and others, I'm sure)--and the thing others seem to hate--is that they are where they are BY MERIT, because they have the abilities needed to accomplish what they're doing.
Bartiromo learned finance, and traded on the exchange floor (and was bumped around by the men) and earned everything she has achieved by knowing what to do and doing it.
Patrick has gotten to Indy by driving fast and well. Yes, she's the first woman to have led a lap in the 500, but forget that and recognize that she's one of the very few drivers ever who led at the 500 in their rookie appearance.
Palin earned/fought her way onto the school board, and by her accomplishments there gained the confidence of the people which took her to the State House.
They happen to all look great, but that's simply not relevant.
Does Palin add to McCain's potential to bring change to Washington?
Does Obama's track record give us any reason to hope for the change he's promising? Does his pick of Biden show he really is sincere about change?
The beauty pageant: 1. Palin, 2. Obama.
The Presidency: 1. Too close to call between McCain and Palin, 3, 4. Vacant--other contestants disqualified.

Sarah IS the right Choice!
I was thrilled on Friday, and still am about Sarah. I was disappointed about the news on Monday about her daughter, but only because I knew the left would attack with fervor. What I didn't expect was the attack from WOMEN in the media over issues that I thought had been settled. Apparently equal pay, equal work and equal opportunity or only available to women with the "correct" political positions.
I actually think a large part of the reason the media went into a frenzy is that McCain essentially pants'd them, both with the selection and the fact that THEY (the Kingmakers) didn't have their slick media packages ready to go on her. They had done their homework and were prepared to point out the negatives on Pawlenty or Romney. McCain left them standing there with their pants around their ankles and the spongebob boxers out in plain view.
It also killed the bounce they expected from the Thursday speech so again they were ready to report on the mass public acceptance of Obama as the ONE and that did not happen. I fully expect the race card to be played very soon probably Friday, depends on how the O'Reilly interview goes for them. If Sarah does well tonight, and Obama struggles tomorrow, I think McCain may just have to show up and say I accept! Okay, maybe a little over the top, but I find myself getting fired up!
Well, all I can say is BRAVO! Senator McCain, the all knowing media may not have known who Sarah Palin was, but for those of us who seek out multiple sources of news, I did, and quite frankly I was impressed. Impressed enough that I made my first ever political contribution.

WHERE IS WOMENS PRIDE? BLACKS ARE LOYAL
HSKRWBL, so true! Females are satisfied to let the better muscians, Clinton and now Palin, play SECOND fiddle to the fumbling male fiddler! They not only foolishly neglect the deserving lady candidates, they go out of their way to unfairly discredit them. For example, Kathlene Parker, journalist, doesn't know what shes talking about but that didn't stop her from writing an un-warranted demeaning Palin review. She couldn't even give her any benefit of a doubt and at least wait until after her debate! Guess she believed the Saturday night satire, like other one'eye, biased liberals! We're still waiting for their beloved 'O' and Joes Saturday night live debut,ha! There is plenty of laugh material with those two great pretenders! Ex Democrat
