The Big Dog at the Dog Park

...when I read this, it sounded (in my head obviously, unless I mistakingly read aloud) as though you were talking directly to me.

With all that I read, I don't think that has happened.

are you saying that you're the owner of an obnoxious bulldog or you are, in fact, an obnoxious bulldog? :-)

This is a new concept to me. Dog parks. I don't really get them. Let your dog off the leash with a bunch of other dogs that might 1) be aggressive, 2) be sick, 3) be "amorous"?? Why not just keep him on the leash and let him go in your back yard?

the other day I wanted to go for a walk on my lunch break. So, I drove up the street from my office to this nice little park with some hills, and I thought, that's perfect. I got out and started walking, then I got barraged with all these dogs. I thought, "What's with all these dogs running every where?!!" Then, I realized, by looking at the park sign, it was a dog park. People were looking at me oddly because I didn't have a dog. I think that's discrimination.

Yep, like being single at a neighborhood dinner with all of the couples, being in a dog park without a dog is going to get you some "looks."
