The Ghost of Racial Past

We don't want to go "back to the future." We have come so far from all of that to try to create a society that is "color blind," that treats people as valuable human beings and does not segregate them according to their color or their nationality. That is what the GOP has always been about and those are still the values of the Republican Party.

I'm not calling those that have the "loud voices" racist, but what the public is hearing in this loud discussion scares them. As you said, "Walls" have been torn down, and now some are trying to erect them again.

I am completely with President Bush on this. We can have an immigration policy that keeps illegals from getting into the country and starts to solve the problem of the ones here, without a certain group of people being targeted as the "destroyers of our culture."

There are people who want to kill us all, and they are not the people that have come here for jobs to feed their families.
