THE LEAST MEN STANDING
A FEW WORDS ON GLENN BECK'S 9/12 PROJECT

I was, initially, put off by Beck's overly dramatic delivery and some of his early(2006) opinions on specific issues. But after reading his book and becoming more familiar with him I decided what few flaws I found in him were insignificant compared to the virtues.
I was glad to see him move to Fox and believed he would be quite a success. I had long ago given up on O'Reilly because he has more interest in being perceived as "fair and balanced" than in telling it like it is. He's a different person compared to the O'Reilly that authored Culture War.
I joined 9/12 Project and am still learning my way around. I have a few suggestions for improving the site, but it seems to be gaining in public awareness and influence.

I definitely prefer
Beck and Boortz over Hannity and Limbaugh. Too bad that thier shows on radio are at the same time, and on top of that Boortz isn't available in the Filthadelphia market (guess he supports liberty and the Constitution too much for the City of Brotherly Hate, aka the City that Supports Unions, racist blacks, and Democrats no matter what).
I'm looking forward to the Tax Day Tea Parties. Let's see if this really is the start of a building movement, or just another fizzle from conservatives. Getting a bunch of conservatives to rally is tougher than doing it with liberals...since most conservatives actually WORK for a living!

We prefer what works
We like what works, and both the 9/12 and Tea Party ideas have long term risks. Talk radio has its place as an info source, and that's about the whole of it.
Look for a piece later on these highly visible signs of a popular revolt. We know they've been planned for by the Other Side.
We'll know in Nov 2010.
Don't get your hopes up...just don't lose the fire.
