Correct me, if I'm wrong...

The strategy so far is to have committe meetings. Feinstein and her gang drag the oil company CEO's/Presidents to the hill, shake their fist at them and tell them they are bad people.

Then you have Maxine Waters shaking her fist and threatening the oil companies to nationalize.
So, strategy I see none.

The gov of my state (CA) will not lift the ban for off-shore drilling. The CA coast is a national treasure and there was an oil spill in 1969 and we don't want to repeat that. Ugh!

Some of the Dems said they are not sure what to do because they don't want to alienate the environmentalists.

Today at the gas station down the street from my house, the super unleaded has hit $5.00 per gallon.

So, strategy I see none, except to give me more pain at the pump and to have another hearing and tell people how mean the oil companies are.

Yes, Sue. Like ol Slick Willy might say: "I feel your pain."
It's sad when the country is left with a lame duck President and a hostile Congress at at time like this.
That's a dangerous combination and assures inaction on anything constructive.
And the little guy takes it on the chin as a result.

I think that we should start docking Congress's pay. They don't produce, no money. If we did that, they just might show up for some votes!!!

But how do you take money away from the folks who legally take it from us, by threat of force and then dole it out, as needed, to get re-elected?
It's like the fox in charge of the henhouse.
Maybe time to grab the pitchforks and light up the torches and have a march to Washington.
