The freedom of speech does come with responsibility. But if the speaker on the airwaves does not violate any laws, then the Market should decide his fate, not the State. I'm sick and disgusted with those two imbeciles, I'll never ever listen to their show, but I'll never let the Liberals implement the Fairness Doctrine to silence Conservative Talk Radio. Welcome to TH!

I think if the Dem's win big...
...in 08 then we'd all better invest in a satellite radio set up. At least those who want to listen to conservative talk radio. Because the fairness doctrine will become law. Of course there will be provisions w/in the law so that Dem/lefties can say what they want when they want it. And, of course, the Dem's will put the law down on NASA - no satellites for right wingers. So we'll have to get France or China to launch one for us. Or we could set up little boats w/big antenna's bobbing out past the 12 mile limit. Wonder how the Dem's will go after the bloggers on the net?
As much as I find the statements of these guys repugnant, I always remember, if the Gov't can regulate one form of speech it can also regulate what is taught from the pulpits of our churches. We're just very fortunate and blessed to be able to express ourselves here and now. Who know's what tomorrow will bring. DD
