Fred Gets it RIGHT!

Gunny

I've been a Thompson fan since early this spring.Next to Newt,he's the only no-nonsense candidate out there. He really slammed Rudy in Sunday nite debate pointing out Rudy was pro gun control, pro abortion and I can't remember the 3rd thing(I think it was pro illegals). He then pointed out those were the same things Hillary supported.Smmmmmaaack!Fred has my support....

Rudy...

went around every question about his support for gun control, abortion and illegals.
Every single time he brought his answer around to how he got crime lowered in NYC while he was mayor. I kind of reminds me of Jesse Jackson. Every time that guy is asked a question he brings it around to feeding the poor black children and racism.

Thompson and Huckabee did a really good job.

beachmom

I concur. RINO Rudy is not the choice, should never be the choice, and I'll never vote for him.

Two Evils

Rudy and Hillary IMHO are both evil. There is no
lesser here. I can't vote for either one but I can and will vote for Fred if he is the GOP
nominee. Go Fred go.

pineknot

At first, I was reluctant to see Brian's POV on NOT voting for RINO Rudy is he gets the nod. I did not want to see Hitlary take over BUT now, I see that we must suffer in order to learn a lesson. It's really that simple.

Gunny

Another good thing about Fred is the LSM is not always pounding him as the likely nominee. The more the LSM says this, that,or whatever is the choice, the further away go I. 100% agree with the growing concern about staying away from his Rudyness, can what he says be taken to the bank? Highly unlikely. Should Fred get the nod,the pit yorkies, and other ankle-biters will be out to destroy him. Guaran-frigging-teed. Sure hope that those who DON'T come here, and other venues, get their arses to the polls come primary time. Be about the only way to have ANY chance at derailing the RUDY EXPRESS.

clyde

Indeed but my stance is, that if RINO Rudy gets the nod, I'm staying home.

Gunny

As much as I HATE the thought of Hitlary,I believe that somehow the message HAS to be sent to the JO's at the RNC to put candidates up that ARE NOT dem-lite. Can't argue about sitting out if it is RINO RUDY,or one like him. Looks as if enough people get to the dam primaries,it would be possible to get the LSM candidates OUT.

We have confirmation, too

Look at Jindal's win in Louisiana.

Proof positive conservatism sells; the guy won in a Dem state!

I don't know why the GOP refuses to learn that simple lesson. Every time it's put to the test at the polls, the results are the same. Yet all we get are the RINO Rudys.

They may well just have to get their butts kicked yet AGAIN to learn the lesson, if they still didn't get it after last year's mid-terms.

My big and recent question about FDT: why won't he sign the tax pledge?

Brian

Good point on Jindal.

Maybe it's a wakeup call for the GOP.

Fred is his own man and as he stated, he's campaigning in his own way. I hope he signs the tax pledge but maybe he's smart in seeing if he can bag him a RINO when he does it!

Yeah, maybe

I do like Fred, and sent him my own hard-earned moolah.

But he won't sign the pledge.... and he did vote for McCain-Feingold.

I'm tired of "conservatives" looking to hedge their bets.

Flip side

He is absolutely GREAT on gun rights.

That covers a lot of ground for me.

Gunny and Fred

I'm a hard sell. Here I am hoping for the impossible -- not just the improbable: that Jeff Sessions or Tom Coburn would jump in. Or that McCain would REALLY change his entire view of illegal immigration.

But I'm trying to keep an open mind. It's so cool when the wind blows through.

Keep up your preaching. I may join the choir.

Brian

I concur. I hate the Feingold/McShame crap as well and it's done nothing to stop campaign fraud as we've seen.

Frigglesnitz

I'd love to see a Thompson/Hunter ticket. Or a Thompson/Tancredo ticket. Go conservative and go all the way.

I like fred too

He looks like the guy on the Frankenberry cereal box!
