I really don't think they are fixated on individual lives as much as they are fixated on America's defeat - the "individual lives" are simply are points for their propaganda. If they actually cared about individuals they would have raised heck about Stalin, Mao, Castro and Pol Pot.

You are right- their outrage is always selective. And they are certainly using these figures to sap our will. However, I do believe that they think they are "above" patriotism and nationalism,, and that sacrifices for these causes are unjustifiable. However, a nice guy like Pol Pot or Stalin- hey they were only doing their best for a great cause!

We better be careful- the more you try to understand the workings of a deranged mind,the greater the risk you fall into the abyss. If we ever begin really fathom the way Liberals think, we are in real trouble!
