You have to hand it to the democrats. They may be wrong on most everything, but AT LEAST they are VOCAL opposition, unlike the majority of the republicans.Timidity wins nothing. In the second paragraph, yes that is a good question. Only trouble here is the number of governors willing to bend over for this administration is troubling. I need look no further than Michigan, where Granholm is bent over and spread eagle to this bunch. She not only is taking all she can get,no matter the strings, but is doing some dirty dealing to get Obama to pump a bunch of Fed money into Detroit Public Schools.Where in the Constitution do EITHER ONE of the clucks have that power? The big IF here is could these govs. be trusted to go against a POTUS of their own party? Not likely.CK,unfortunately, due largely to LAZY politicians,WAY too many decisions THEY should have made were punted to the SCOTUS,who basically answers to no one. Another reason why elections have consequences. This Court has been, since Warren days, far too activist, what with the liberal-leaning justices that BOTH party POTUS have been responsible for foisting upon us.

Governors may do that, but I look to the senate as doing it much more. They are, if not entirely, more independent of parties compared to National politics. At the Fed level the senate works with the president on a regular basis while the Governors, until recently, don't very much. Nothing will be totally unbiased, but I think Governors would do a better job than the senate in impeachment trials.

Yes the activist judges are causing more problems than they cause. No way to argue with that one lol.
