Hey, Flag,

some great columns. Good to see you're still going strong. Looks like you and Ralph could start your own Hannity and Colmes.

Have a couple of new posts up at my place if you're interested.

Too bad she's

not at the TOP of the ticket.

I'd vote for her.

Then I wouldn't be spending so much time on this site squawking about how the GOP needs a spanking.

Hey guys!

Brian: How right you are! At this point she's the only thing giving the McCain campaign life. I think that a lot of people may have gotten the wrong idea about why Palin is usually with McCain on the trail; personally it looks like she is out there to draw crowds for him and to bolster his popularity, not because she can't campaign on her own.

Cynewulf: Where have you been dude? Every once in awhile you drop by to see a brother, but the visits are way too infrequent! Let a brother know what's going on with you, because I don't want you to drop out of sight like Celtic Dragon. The three of you (you, Brian, and Celtic) are my original partners here, and I hate it when you're not around!

As for me and Ralph, we get into it pretty good sometimes and usually have a nice point-counterpoint conversation...except when it gets to be a "point-talking point" situation! But I'll take it...so long as neither one of has to look like the perpetually surprised Alan Colmes! I swear that dude looks like "The Joker" without the makeup!

And I'll get to your spot as soon as I can; I'm working nights for a couple of months, so you know how that gets. I have to get my beauty sleep, after all ;-)

Yeah, Flag

Celt!...man, I still have her on my Blog Roll and drop in from time to time to see if she's posted anything new.

Sheesh! THOSE were the days, when we weren't all beating each OTHER up....

And they SHALL return, right after this election, however it turns out.

Ralph,

you disagree with Flag's essay, the idea that you and Flag should set up your own version of Hannity and Colmes, or that Colmes looks like the Joker without makeup?

Flag,

yeah, I'm ashamed to admit it, but I've just gotten plain disgusted with Republicans over the last couple of years. They've shot themeselves in the foot so many times it's a wonder all of our congress critters aren't hobbling around on crutches. Anyway, I should be on more often now; it seems to have gotten into my blood again. I think Celt will make it back at some point, if only to post something and then disappear again.

As for Sarah, my local paper, The Tampa Tribune, noted that McCain was taking advantage of her crowd drawing power. My hope is that if McCain loses, Palin will not have suffered unduly for it.

Oh, and I will never look at Alan Colmes the same way again. See you at Exeter when you're fully rested :)

Sarah 2012

If only she were at the top of the ticket.

PS- new post up at my place, if you are interested

Geez, Ralphie

You disagree even when the entire essay is simple FACTS. Yep, a good liberal, just like death-warmed-over Colmes.

Flag,

not sure if you're a Mark Steyn fan, but if you are, drop on by and check out his latest column.

Dear readers

Crawfish: Yep, disagreeing for the simple sake of disagreement! Typical liberal stuff, eh? I at least expected an argument from him.

Wulf: I got over and checked it out. Steyn is good!

RB: I'll check it out as soon as I can! And this experience, win or lose helps her for the future. People know who she is, what she thinks, and see that she can handle the spotlight.

Brian: Those indeed were the days! We went at it pretty good sometimes, but it rarely got personal. This election has gotten way too personal for way too many of us. Thankfully it will be over soon!

UHC fails in Hawaii

Read about it at my place.

Good stuff.I've said it before, were SHE heading the ticket,I'd support it. Been out of town, massive troubles with the motorpalace,it is near Boston, waiting on a new engine. Seems like they can't figure out how to keep those wonderful Chinese bolts from shearing off the fan hub and bracket, rendering it useless. Not to mention when the technician(can't call'em mechanics anymore,P.C. you know)tried to drill one of the broken bolts out,he inadvertently drilled into the water jacket. Kind of tough to seal a hole in a cast part. Oh well, that's what we get for trying to spur on the economy,I suppose.

But Clyde,

You sir, are doing yeoman's work in stimulating the economy! You have purchased a motorcoach (atuomotive mfg), filled it with gas (oil industry), driven it somewhere no doubt stoppijg for food (farmers, etc) and more gas (oil again). Then you are helping the small businessman who ruin...uh, attempted the repairs, and you're providing jobs for the manufacturers of those bolts and other parts you'll need to get back on the road! You are an Economic Super Engine!

Flagwaver

Well, sir, when you put it THAT way.. I STILL feel like I been had. mwahahahahaha

Well Well

I totally forgot about this. I see that Craw and yourself resorted to name calling and mind reading in my absence. I must admit though that I find it hilarious that a black conservative is accusing me of “disagreeing for the simple sake of disagreement.” If that isn’t the pot calling the kettle pitch black. Well If you wanted an argument:

Pt. #1: Sarah Plain isn’t qualified to be Vice President. Period. Hell, I’m not the only saying this:

Pt. #2: You cannot downplay the reality that if McCain had been elected, Sarah Palin would be next in line to assume the presidency if he were to die. Can you honestly say that Sarah Palin is qualified and competent enough to lead the United States of America at this crucial time in our history?

Pt. #3: The choice of Sarah Palin was a purely partisan ploy to appeal to the lunatic fringe of the Republican Party and hopefully attract female voters. She wasn’t selected based on her “executive experience” or “astute knowledge of the issues”. Palin was picked because she is a pro-life woman who appeals to the ignorant, bigoted masses of “real“ America. Simple as that. I would implore you to read this article:

Pt. #4: I have to give you credit for the factual information on the history of the Vice Presidency.

Pt. #5: We couldn’t have our own version of Hannity & Colmes. You are much smarter and more dignified human being than Hannity. Plus, I am not the passive type of liberal like Alan Colmes. He is an embarrassment.
